Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Doseva handles information when you use the app. This text is based on the current app codebase and feature set.

Information We Collect

Doseva processes information you enter in the app, including:

• Medication details (name, form, dose amount/unit, purpose, meal timing, and instruction notes).
• Schedule details (frequency, times, start/end dates, and suspension windows).
• Dose history (taken/skipped/missed status, skip reason, rescheduled times, and single-dose edits).
• Refill tracking information (remaining amount, threshold, and unit).
• Reminder settings (follow-up repeat settings, reminder sound selection, and notification preferences).

How Information Is Used

Doseva uses this information to run app functionality: medication schedules, reminders, history, refill alerts, premium feature access, and PDF report export.

Local Device Storage

Based on the current code, Doseva stores core app data locally on your device using Core Data and UserDefaults. No in-app login/account system is present.

Notifications

Doseva requests notification permission to schedule local medication and refill reminders. Notification content can include medication and dose context so reminders are useful.

Subscriptions and Payments

Premium subscriptions are provided through Apple App Store / StoreKit. Payments, billing, renewals, cancellation, and refund handling are managed by Apple. The app checks Apple entitlement status to unlock premium features.

Third-Party Services

Based on the current code, Doseva does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs. Apple services are used for App Store purchases/subscription management and App Store review flow.

Data Retention

Data remains on your device until you edit/delete it in the app or remove the app. Exported PDF files are created in temporary storage and removed by the app after share flow completion.

Children's Privacy

Doseva is not intended to knowingly collect personal data from children without required consent under applicable law.

Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated if app behavior changes, including new permissions, SDKs, or data flows.
